Let's not allow our mishaps, setbacks, tragedies, and failures to keep us away from our loving God, father, and friend. Life is definitely not fair; we don't win all, we don't always get what we want, we don't always end up with the perfect ending. Bad things happen us. We fail us, people fail us. But we must continue on this journey call life, facing north towards our eternal home.
As we continue to journey, whether whole, wounded, or broken, let’s remember to secure the most valuable part of who we are-Our Souls. See, God NEVER promises perfection in this life, it's the contrary. He told us, the afflictions we MUST suffer here, will work as the shearer’s pruning instrument and a catalyst to push us closer to HIM and ready our souls for our eternal reign & rest with Him.
So don't be dismayed, yes! you are correct, life is not fair. We often wrong each other, we frequently let each other down, we fail ourselves, we fail each other. Oh yes, we sometimes miss the mark; but today remember we serve a true and loving God who mercies are renewed each morning. If you are reading this then there is still hope for you and me. We can start afresh and anew today. Go for it!
We are reminded...
“The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!” The Lord is good to those who depend on him, to those who search for him. So it is good to wait quietly for salvation from the Lord. And it is good for people to submit at an early age to the yoke of his discipline: Let them sit alone in silence beneath the Lord’s demands. Let them lie face down in the dust, for there may be hope at last. Let them turn the other cheek to those who strike them and accept the insults of their enemies. For no one is abandoned by the Lord forever. Though he brings grief, he also shows compassion because of the greatness of his unfailing love. For he does not enjoy hurting people or causing them sorrow.” Lamentations 3:22-33 NLT
...” So as we ready ourselves to live by faith, accept and walk in the love and mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ, live our best lives, achieve our goals, obtain a healthy mind and body, secure a healthy work-life balance, travel the world, start over...etc.
PLEASE! remember to protect the most valuable part of your existence, YOUR SOUL, don't trade it for anyone or anything. Do all the above, but let's keep Jesus at the center and forefront of all we do. Go where He goes, stop where He stops, walk where He walks, talk how He talks, Live as He desires. Accept and surrender every struggle, weakness, temptations, failure and fear to Jesus. His Love Is For Real!
